Richard William Penn Curzon-Howe, first earl Howe (1796-1870)
The son of Hon. Penn Assheton Curzon; educated at Eton and Christ Church, Oxford, he
succeeded his grandfather as viscount in 1820 and was created earl Howe the following
year.
