The daughter of Auguste Charles Joseph de Flahault, Comte de Flahault de la Billardrie and Margaret Mercer Elphinstone, Baroness Keith, in 1843 she became the second wife of married Sir Henry Petty-FitzMaurice, fourth Marquess of Lansdowne.
