Antiquary and Whig pamphleteer, of Bromsberrow Place, Gloucestershire; educated at St. John's College, Oxford, he was a county magistrate for Gloucester. William Cobbett mentions him as having been ousted from his estate by Osman Ricardo in the Rural Ride for 7 October 1826.
