William Charles Fortescue, second viscount Clermont (1764-1829)
The son of Rt. Hon. James Fortescue; after military service he was a member of the Irish
Parliament (1795-1800) and Whig MP for County Louth (1800-06); he succeeded to the title in
1806 and was an Irish representative peer (1821).
