George William Lemon (1726-1797)
Educated at Queens' College, Cambridge, he was a philologist, historian, and rector of
East Walton, near King's Lynn (1755-1797). He was also the unsuccessful headmaster of
Norwich grammar school (1770-78), succeeded by Samuel Parr.
