Sir George Barrow, second baronet (1806-1876)

The eldest son of Sir John Barrow, first baronet (1764-1848); he married the adopted daughter of John Wilson Croker. Barrow worked in the Colonial Office where in 1870 he became chief clerk in the African and Mediterranean department.
