John Pern Tinney (1778 c.-1832)
Educated at St. Edmund Hall, Oxford, he was a Salisbury lawyer and magistrate who
published political pamphlets, among them The Rights of the Sovereignty
Vindicated (1809). He was a patron of John Constable.
