Nicholas Byrne (d. 1833) Tory editor of the Morning Post and husband of Charlotte Dacre, whom he married in 1815. He died in 1833 of wounds received in a murder attempt two years earlier.

The Englishman. (1803-1834). A London weekly newspaper; the proprietor was William I. Clement (1821-34).

The Observer. (1791-). A London Sunday newspaper edited by Lewis Doxat 1804-57.
