and received yesterday evening an answer from him, which I shall lay hefore a meeting of the Council on Monday. With best wishes for your perfect recovery,

Thomas Burgess, bishop of Salisbury (1756-1837) Educated at Winchester and Corpus Christi College, Oxford, he was domestic chaplain to Shute Barrington, bishop of St. David's (1803) and Bishop of Salisbury (1825).

Lord George Augustus Frederick Fitzclarence, first earl of Munster (1794-1842) The eldest illegitimate son of William, duke of Clarence and Dorothy Jordan; he served in India prior to his death by suicide, unreconciled to his illegitimate status.
